Located on the Lake is Valdearenas Beach and with white sand and pure water, bathing, water sports and fishing are extremely popular and highly recommended. Average temperatures in Iznajar are approximately 28°C in summer and around 15°C in winter In the winter there is skiing at Sierra Nevada, less than 40 minutes away and the main centre of Cordoba is only 50 minutes.
